Avvi | White Coat Syndrome
Last February, I had the wonderful chance of playing drums on a pop track given to me by an artist whom I had previously met named Avvi. Avvi told me that the track was going to be named, "White Coat Syndrome." She then told me that the title for the song was inspired by the fact that a gene for stage 4 breast cancer runs in her whole family. After doing some thinking, I recorded a first take of the drumless version she had sent me via email on my Roland SPD-SX sample drum pad at home. After sending that to her, Avvi asked me to do another take on my Ludwig Evolution acoustic kit, which I did. After doing some mixing, I sent the second take on my acoustic kit to her, and she eventually released the song this past October, with my drums on it. I feel very blessed that I was able to be a part of this!
